This webinar, organised by the European Health Management Association (EHMA) and Abbott, aims to promote a VBHC community of practice, showcase how healthcare providers collect information and measure outcomes and even more importantly, how they manage to design, plan, and implement the transition of their care delivery towards VBHC principles. Speakers will be Prof. Federico Lega (University of Milan) and Dr Colleen Strain (Abbott).

Value-Based Healthcare (VBHC) is the paradigm re-shaping healthcare today and promotes the much-needed change in focus from services to outcomes. Thus, VBHC involves redesigning delivery processes, shifting from a volume to a patient value-centred approach and improving teamwork within health organisations. Health managers need examples, a pool of good practices and practical guidance on how to implement VBH and translate theory to practice.

Attendees will also get hands-on advice and hints on how to apply for the UNIVANTS of Healthcare Excellence Award which recognises healthcare organisations that transform their care delivery.
