ISIDORE – CALLS FOR PROPOSALS
RESPIRATORY PATHOGENS: A large number of pathogens target the human respiratory tract, resulting in a broad spectrum of clinical manifestations including life-threatening acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). While serious respiratory infections are predominantly caused by RNA viruses, other types of pathogens can be involved. The modes of transmission of respiratory pathogens often give them a significant epidemic potential.
The ISIDORe consortium supports scientists with an interest in these respiratory pathogens.
Researchers are invited to submit any proposal that Is focused on at least one eligible respiratory pathogen, excluding SARS-CoV-2 (see below and full ISIDORe PPP list).
VECTOR-BORNE PATHOGENS & THEIR VECTORS: The geographic and host ranges of vector-borne diseases are expanding, mostly due to anthropogenic factors. With rising temperatures and changing weather patterns, the risk of these diseases affecting increasingly large areas of the world will continue to rise, as reflected by the record number cases of dengue (including non-imported ones) and West Nile virus observed in Europe in 2022.
The ISIDORe consortium supports scientists with an interest in the causative agents and vectors of these fast-spreading diseases.
Researchers are invited to submit any proposal that Is focused on at least one eligible vector-borne pathogen (see below and full ISIDORe PPP list).
OTHER PATHOGENS WITH EPIDEMIC POTENTIAL: Will the next global infectious threat be an orthopoxvirus, or an enterovirus? Will it be even caused by a known pathogen? Can we be ready for the next pathogen X?
The ISIDORe consortium supports scientists with an interest in epidemic-prone pathogens, including pathogen X.
Researchers are invited to submit any proposal that Is focused on pathogen X or at least one of the three pathogen classes specifically identified in this call.

ISIDORE – CALLS FOR PROPOSALS
RISK GROUP 4 PATHOGENS: Risk Group 4 (RG4) pathogens usually cause serious human or animal disease and can be readily transmitted from one individual to another, directly or indirectly. Effective treatment and preventive measures are not usually available.
The ISIDORe consortium supports scientists with an interest in these pathogens with high individual and community risk.Researchers are invited to submit any proposal that:
Can be advanced by access to at least one of our services,
Falls under one of the following sections (see SCOPE), andIs focused on at least one eligible RG4 pathogen (see below and full ISIDORe PPP list).

ERA-NET NEURON JTC 2024 “INTERACCIÓN RECÍPROCA ENTRE EL CEREBRO Y EL CUERPO”
Objetivo de la iniciativa transnacional ERA NET NEURON:
Facilitar proyectos de investigación multinacionales y colaborativos que aborden cuestiones clínicas y traslacionales críticas para mejorar nuestro conocimiento sobre el papel de las interacciones recíprocas entre el sistema nervioso central y el cuerpo en la génesis y progresión de enfermedades neurológicas y psiquiátricas.
Prevenir y tratar: Una mejor comprensión de estas interacciones tiene el potencial de descubrir soluciones para la prevención y tratamiento de estos trastornos.

ERC-2024-POC: The ERC Proof of Concept Grants aim at facilitating exploration of the commercial and social innovation potential of ERC funded research and are therefore available only to Principal Investigators whose proposals draw substantially on their ERC funded research.The financial contribution will be awarded as a lump sum of EUR 150.000 for a period of 18 months. The ERC expects that normally proof of concept activities should be completed within 12 months. However, to allow for those projects that require more preparation time, the grant agreements will be signed for 18 months. Extensions of the duration of proof of concept projects may be granted only exceptionally.

JOINT PROGRAMMING INITIATIVE ON ANTIMICROBIAL RESISTANCE (JPIAMR)
Convocatoria enmarcada en la Iniciativa de Programación Conjunta sobre Resistencia a los Antimicrobianos (JPIAMR – Joint Programming Initiative on Antimicrobial Resistance), que tiene como objetivo coordinar los esfuerzos que se realizan, desde los diferentes países asociados, en el campo de la resistencia antimicrobiana.
La convocatoria será co-financiada por la Comisión Europea y diferentes agencias financiadoras de los países o regiones participantes. En el caso de España, Instituto de Salud Carlos III será el financiador de los grupos españoles participantes en los proyectos.
En concreto convocatoria financiará proyectos de investigación trasnacionales para el desarrollo de estrategias, herramientas, tecnologías y métodos innovadores para el diagnóstico y la vigilancia de la resistencia a los antimicrobianos.
Los proyectos deberán centrarse en uno de los siguientes temas:
Desarrollar diagnósticos novedosos, o mejorar los existentes, que puedan descartar el uso de antimicrobianos o ayudar a identificar el tratamiento antimicrobiano más eficaz.
Desarrollar o mejorar las estratégicas , tecnologías o métodos existentes, o las estrategias de uso de datos para apoyar la vigilancia de la resistencia a antimicrobianos en One Health.
HORIZON-CL4-2024-DIGITAL-EMERGING-01-03: Novel paradigms and approaches, towards AI-powered robots-step change in functionality (AI, data and robotics partnership).
CERV-2024-CHILD: Rights of the child and children’s participation.This call for proposals aims at supporting, advancing and implementing comprehensive policies to protect and promote the rights of the child, including the right to participate. It responds to children’s current needs and challenges in the EU, through four priorities, one of them children’s mental health.

THCS – INNOVATE TO PREVENT: PERSONALISED PREVENTION IN HEALTH AND CARE SERVICES
Joint transnational research and innovation proposals may be submitted to this call by teams working at different entities such as universities (or other higher education institutions) research and knowledge dissemination organisations, non-university public or private research and/or innovation organisations, hospitals or foundations or any healthcare providers, operational stakeholders (e.g. citizens and/or citizen representatives, local communities, schools, municipalities, local/national NGOS, consumer organisations), as well as companies, particularly small and medium-size companies.
The eligibility of the afore-mentioned institutions, organisations, companies, together with details of eligible costs (e.g. personnel, material, consumables, travel money, expenditure) are subject to the administrative requirements of the individual funding organisations participating in this call.
Applicants must adhere to the specific regulations of their regional/national funding partner organisations. The eligibility of the consortium will be then approved by the Call Steering Committee (CSC).

El proyecto INDUSAC, financiado por Horizon Europe, ofrece apoyo para colaboraciones de investigación cortas (de 4 a 8 semanas) entre estudiantes, investigadores y empresas. Su objetivo es abordar desafíos empresariales a través de equipos de trabajo, destacando la inclusión femenina (al menos un 50%) y la participación de países con menos oportunidades de investigación (un 60%). La convocatoria cuenta con tres fechas límite para enviar Cartas de Motivación. Se sugiere presentar una única carta sólida y detallada para maximizar las posibilidades.

Apertura segunda convocatoria Interreg SUDOE
La segunda convocatoria de proyectos Sudoe está abierta desde el 26 de febrero de 2024 hasta el 31 de mayo de 2024 a las 12:00 horas (hora local de Santander, España continental) y cuenta con un presupuesto FEDER de 53,7 millones de euros.
El texto de la convocatoria de proyectos especifica todas las condiciones de admisibilidad, de elegibilidad y selección. No habrá cambios importantes en estas condiciones con respecto a las existentes en el momento de la primera convocatoria. La presentación de candidaturas también seguirá los mismos procedimientos, a través de dos fases competitivas.
Webinario "¿Qué tipo de proyectos se esperan?"
Este webinario presentará los proyectos esperados en cada objetivo específico abierto en la convocatoria de proyectos y las cuestiones generales de elegibilidad de las entidades.
Se organizará un webinario por estado miembro. Se comunicarán las fechas el 29 de febrero.

Digital Health topics under the DIGITAL Europe Programme 11 marzo de 2024 | Webinar
The European Commission invites any interested stakeholders to an online information webinar on 3 digital health-related calls for proposals published under the amended Digital Europe Work Programme 2023-24.
The webinar will cover three new topics addressing digital health in the ongoing open calls:
Supporting patients’ access to their health data in the context of healthcare services for citizens across the EU,
Demonstrating the in-service use of the European Electronic Health Record Exchange Format (EEHRxF) in healthcare settings, and
A coordination and support action for the 1+ Million Genomes Initiative’s sustainability and uptake.

La red de NCPs de salud HNN3.0 organiza el workshop “Unlocking Success: Insider Insights for Winning Horizon Europe Health Proposals” para dar tips para las secciones de excelencia, impacto e implementación de las propuestas.
Taller informativo diseñado para mejorar las habilidades en la redacción de propuestas de Horizon Europe Health. Información valiosa sobre las secciones de excelencia, impacto e implementación del modelo de propuesta a través de sesiones dirigidas por expertos y debates interactivos. Una oportunidad para mejorar las técnicas de redacción de propuestas y aumentar las posibilidades de éxito en la obtención de financiación.
Destinatarios: este taller está dirigido a todas las partes interesadas, especialmente a los coordinadores, que estén preparando una propuesta de una sola fase o de segunda fase para un tema del Grupo 1 con fecha límite el 11 de abril de 2024, y abierto a los PCN interesados. El acto se grabará y se publicará posteriormente en su sitio web.

Taller de preparación de propuestas del clúster salud 2024 15 marzo de 2024
La FECYT y CDTI en colaboración con el Hospital Universitario La Paz - IdiPaz organizan un seminario de preparación de propuestas el próximo 15 de marzo, 10:00-14:30, en formato presencial. La jornada constará de cuatro sesiones temáticas: ensayos clínicos, ética, lump sum y escritura de propuestas. Al finalizar la jornada se realizará revisión de propuestas por la NCPs de Salud y Legal y Financiero.

Online COST Info Day 2024 27 marzo de 2024 | Más información
El próximo 27 de marzo de 2024 tendrá lugar una sesión informativa sobre el programa COST, en formato online.
La jornada está dirigida a todos aquellos que se dedican a investigación y/o innovación desde cualquier campo de investigación, especialmente a los jóvenes investigadores. El objetivo es informar a la comunidad investigadora de cómo se puede participar en las acciones COST o cómo se puede preparar una propuesta. Además, se explicará el rol e impacto que tiene el programa COST, y los beneficios que ofrece el programa.
La jornada comenzará a las 10:00 hasta las 11:30 horas.

En el marco del proyecto europeo RICH Europe, se ha organizado un simposio sobre Infraestructuras Europeas de Investigación, con el título: “Research Infrastructure (RI) and European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) in the Horizon Europe Research Infrastructure Work Programme.
El simposio tendrá como objetivos:
Proporcionar una visión global de las oportunidades que ofrecen los Programas de Trabajo de Horizonte Europa a la implementación de la Ciencia Abierta a través de la Nube Europea de datos (EOSC)
Dar a conocer proyectos financiados en el Programa de Infraestructuras de Investigación Europeas de Horizonte Europa, en particular aquellos que desarrollan las prioridades del Espacio Europeo de Investigación, y la implementación de la política de ciencia abierta
Facilitar el diálogo entre las Infraestructuras de Investigación a nivel internacional
El simposio tendrá lugar el próximo 7 de mayo 2024 en el Salón Ernst Lluch del Instituto de Salud Carlos III.
